The VMP recommends to apply complex coating systems consisted of one or more painting layers for corrosion protection of bridges. The Holding developed anticorrosive coatings for bridges with the following advantages:
The VMP recommends to apply ZFES, the zinc-filled composition, to protect friction joints ZFES. The composition is recommended for application in ИС-385-06 Technical Specification of Mosty Research Centre.
Galvanizing is the most reliable protection of bridge embedded parts and connectors. The VMP recommends one of its types – “сold” galvanizing. Zinc-filled primers are used to create zinc coatings.
Every day, road fences are exposed to aggressive environments, therefore, applied coatings shall have appropriate operating characteristics: water-resistance, chemical resistance, abrasive resistance. Materials with zinc powder or anticorrosive pigments ensure required protection.
