PROTECTION OF BRIDGES

The VMP recommends to apply complex coating systems consisted of one or more painting layers for corrosion protection of bridges. The Engineering Support Department can offer you a service to choose coatings for corrosion protection of bridges, phones: + 7 343 267-97-55, 8-800-500-54-00, On-line request.

The Holding developed anticorrosive coatings for bridges with the following advantages:

  • Long operating period (up to 30 years);
  • Atmosphere-resistance;
  • High decorative properties (wide range of colors, UV-resistance);
  • For metal: materials with special pigments inhibiting corrosion processes;
  • For concrete: materials that decrease concrete water absorption, increase freezing resistance and prevent corrosive agents from concrete body.

PROTECTION OF FRICTION JOINTS

The VMP recommends to apply ZFES, the zinc-filled composition, to protect friction joints ZFES. The composition is recommended for application in ИС-385-06 Technical Specification of Mosty Research Centre.

ZFES advantages:

  • high frictional coefficient of coated joints;
  • lower drying time;
  • high zinc content (protective corrosion mechanism);
  • all-season application (from -15 оС to +40 оС).

PROTECTION OF EMBEDDED PARTS AND CONNECTORS

Galvanizing is the most reliable protection of bridge embedded parts and connectors. The VMP recommends one of its types – “сold” galvanizing. Zinc-filled primers are used to create zinc coatings.

PROTECTION OF ROAD FENCES

Every day, road fences are exposed to aggressive environments, therefore, applied coatings shall have appropriate operating characteristics: water-resistance, chemical resistance, abrasive resistance. Materials with zinc powder or anticorrosive pigments ensure required protection.
