VMP coating systems were successfully tested in All-Russian Research Institute of Railway Transportation for JSC Russian Railways

Research Institute of Railway Transportation (VNIIZhT) carried out the successful tests of VMP anticorrosive coating systems for steel superstructures of railway bridges. Climatic tests as per GOST 9.401-2018 were conducted according to the process instructions for paint application on railway bridge steel structures of JSC Russian Railways.

Coating systems for outer and inner surfaces of railway bridges laying outside of UV exposure area were successfully tested.

The tested VMP coatings systems meet the requirements of ISO 12944-5 (GOST 34667-5) and ensure the 30-year service life in the industrial zone of moderate and cold climate, over 25 years for corrosion activity categories С3 and С4, and up to 25 years for corrosion activity category C5.
