Water Sports Palace (Yekaterinburg) is protected with VMP materials

The specialists of “VMP-Engineering” are performing final coating works on the supporting steel structures of Water Sports Palace being built for Student Games-2023.
The largest complex in the Urals and Siberia with a total area of approximately 60 thousand square meters is designed for training sessions, sports competitions at the Russian and international levels and development of mass sports. Viewing stands are accommodate 5,289 people. The palace is being built on the territory of the Students Games-2023 Village which will be located in the Novokoltsovky district. This complex will also house a training field with track-and-field paths, community center, dorms for sportsmen and medical center.
Corrosion protection was ensured by a coating system based on ISOLEP-primer epoxy primer and POLYTON-UR (UV) finish enamel (RAL 9003) , resistant to UV radiation. The service life of the coating is at least 30 years.
Fire protection of steel structures is ensured with PLAMCOR series of materials as part of the following systems:
