Keyboard monument in Yekaterinburg is protected by VMP coatings

At the end of May, on the Iset river embankment in Yekaterinburg, one of the most unusual monuments of the city was restored: a Keyboard monument.

VMP Research and Production Holding supported the event by providing materials for the concrete protection: penetrating primer FERROTAN-pro and black and white enamels POLITON-UR (UV). Once again, a keyboard of Yekaterinburg will delight the citizens and guests of the Urals capital for many years.

The event was initiated by the leaders of the main technological community of the Urals: Ural CIO, headed by Dmitry Penzov, Alexander Babiychuk, and Yulia Zhukova.

"We have already organized a small construction team, completed work to remove the current pavement, and restored it to proper condition. Thanks to VMP for the good paints we covered the keys with!”,  said Dmitry Penzov, the manager of UCIO.

The Keyboard monument appeared in Yekaterinburg in 2005. The author of the sculpture is Anatoly Vyatkin, a well-known contemporary Urals artist. The concrete monument is a replica of our usual keyboard at a 30:1 scale.
