New epoxy system VMP for internal surface of tanks in the PJSC Transneft Registry

The hardened epoxy coating based on IZOLEP-oil 250 with a total thickness of 320 μm is included instead of a single layer - IZOLEP-oil with a thickness of 400 um in the section of anticorrosive coatings for corrosion protection of the inner surface of steel tanks, reservoirs, cisterns and industrial pipelines of the PJSC Transneft Register of main products.

VMP Holding has developed an advanced material IZOLEP-oil 250 to create a two-layer coating with a smaller thickness, with maintenance the degree of corrosion protection and service life of up to 20 years. The second layer protects against possible defects made during the application of the first layer.

VMP anti-corrosion systems have been successfully tested for many years at NII Transneft. Coatings based on a series of materials IZOLEP-oil were used to protect the internal surfaces of storage tanks for oil and oil products at the facilities of the OPS "Gorky", OPS "Kaleykino", LODS "Perm" and others.
