Description

Single coating is heat-resistant, anticorrosive based on modified organosiloxane resin, single-pack. 

Recommended use

It is intended for protective and decorative painting of metal surfaces, as well as mineral surfaces (concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and asbestos), operated at temperatures from minus 60 to plus 600 °C in the industrial atmosphere of various climatic regions, in shipbuilding, ship repair.

Surface preparation

Carbon steel

• degrease the metal surface to the first grade according to GOST 9.402;

• cleaning of scale, rust and traces of old paint to the degree of 2 according to GOST 9.402 (Sa 2 ½ or St 3 according to ISO 8501-1). The recommended surface profile is 25-40 microns (segment 1-2 of the comparator G according to ISO 8503-1);

• remove dust.

Stainless steel

• degrease the metal surface to the first grade according to GOST 9.402;

• make the surface rough manually or mechanically using sandpaper or non-metallic abrasive;

• remove dust.

Concrete surface.

The exposure time of the concrete base after laying the concrete before applying the primer enamel should be at least 28 days; after applying leveling mixtures - according to the regulatory documentation of the manufacturer of the mixture. The moisture content of concrete in the surface layer with a thickness of 20 mm should be no more than 4% (there should be no film moisture on the concrete surface, the concrete surface should be dry to the touch).

The surface must be uniformly rough and free of protruding fittings, cracks, potholes, sinks, swells, chipped ribs, oil stains, dirt and dust.

• remove dirt, oil and grease contamination; 

• remove lime (cement) milk, destroyed or peeling layers of concrete and old coatings by abrasive cleaning, sanding machine or brushes; 

• dust-free; 

• repair cracks and chips.

Before applying the next layers, the coating must be dry, clean and free of oil and dust.

APPLICATION

• mix homogeneously before use;
• dilute to working viscosity, if necessary.

It is recommended to apply the material in the factory and in the field at temperatures from minus 15 to plus 35 ° C and a relative humidity of no more than 85%. The temperature of the surface to be painted must be at least 3 °C above the dew point.

The primer-enamel prepared for application must have a temperature of at least plus 15 ° C.

It is recommended to apply the primer enamel in 2 layers by airless, pneumatic (air) spraying, brush / roller on a clean, dry surface.

Drying between layers of single coating at a temperature of 20 °C - at least 1 hour. The drying time depends on the surface temperature and ambient air, the degree of dilution of the material, coating thickness, ventilation efficiency and relative humidity.

The final formation of the single coating occurs as a result of thermal curing: heating at a temperature of at least 250 ° C for at least 1 hour. When exposed to high temperatures, color and gloss changes may occur that do not affect the protective properties of the coating

The recommended holding time of the coating before thermal curing is at least 24 hours at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C and a relative humidity of 85% and no more than 1 month in an open atmosphere.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

The material is packed in metal buckets and cans.

Storage conditions in accordance with GOST 9980.5 (at ambient temperatures from minus 40 to plus 40 ° С). The container with the material must not be stored near hear sources and exposed to precipitation and direct sunlight. 

The warranty storage period for the single coating is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

PRECAUTIONS

When working, one shall observe the corresponding industrial standards, requirements and safety measures indicated on the container label.

Use personal protective equipment (goggles, masks, respirators), avoid inhalation of thinners during evaporation and contact of the material or its components with skin, eye and respiratory ways mucous membrane; use the material indoors only with sufficient ventilation.
