ISOLEP-arctic is a two-component polyamine cured high solids (not more than 95 %) epoxy coating.
It provides high resistance against impacts and abrasion, has a low coefficient of friction against ice, helping to increase the ice-passability of ships and reduce fuel consumption.
The coating can be used in all macroclimatic zones, including the conditions of the Far North and the Arctic with operating temperatures down to -70 °C.
Designed to protect the underwater part of ship hulls, including icebreakers of Group 1 Classes I and II and for ice class ships of Group 2 Classes I and II in accordance with the requirements of clause 6.5.3 Part XIII “Rules for the classification and construction of sea-going ships "(ed. 2023)., can be used with

The coating is resistant to fresh, sea and mineralized water, as well as to spills of solutions of salts, acids, alkalis, oil and petroleum products, and detergents.
Can be used in new construction or major renovations as a stand-alone coating, or in a system with anti-fouling topcoats VINICOR-marin AF, VINICOR-marin AF/S, with topcoat POLYTON-UR (UV), as well as with other epoxy-based coatings according to in agreement with the VMP.
