Oil and gas industry

Oil and gas industry metal structures are used in hard conditions that accelerate steel corrosion: exposure to oil and oil products, salted bottom water etc. Besides, they exposed to abrasive effect of contamination, solar radiation, temperature changes, and mechanical loads.

Reliable corrosion protection is determined by hard operating conditions and strict technical requirements for metal structures. The VMP Holding has developed anticorrosive coating systems of oil and gas industry facilities.

PROTECTION OF METAL AND CONCRETE STRUCTURES

The Holding has developed protective coating systems for metal and concrete structures used inside premises and in atmospheric conditions. Appropriate coating is chosen in accordance with environment severity, surface preparation, required protection and other factors.

The VMP coatings for corrosion protection of oil and gas industry facilities ensure:

  • durable construction protection against corrosion (up to 30 years);
  • resistance to aggressive industrial environments, including oil and oil product spilling;
  • intrinsic safety (coatings based on zinc-filled materials);
  • all coatings are recommended to be applied in temperate, cold and tropical climate.

All-season application of the VMP materials is allowed.

PROTECTION OF RESERVOIRS AND TANKS

The VMP produces special chemical-resistant materials for reservoir and tank protection against corrosion.

  • ISOLEP-oil – high-build epoxy composition, applied for inner surface protection of oil and black oil product storage reservoirs.
  • NEFTECOR primer and NEFTECOR enamel – protective epoxy materials for reservoirs and tanks used to store oil, black and white oil products, jet fuel and diesel oil fuel.
  • ZFES – zinc-filled ethyl-silicate composition applied for white oil storage reservoir inner surface.

Besides, the Holding has developed coatings for reservoir outer surface protection. This coats are highly resistant to atmosphere and oil and oil product spills. The coatings are based on polyurethane, epoxy, vinyl-epoxy and other materials.

PIPELINE PROTECTION

The VMP coatings are used for elevated pipeline protection.

EQUIPMENT PROTECTION

The VMP developed heating equipment protection coating systems based on heat-proof silicone materials(ZINOTERMALUMOTERM). They are resistant to constant temperature exposure up to +350 оС, short exposure – up to +400 оС. Besides, the coating provides equipment corrosion protection and preserves its decorative properties.

METAL PILES

Fundamentproekt approved coatings based on the VMP epoxy materials for metal pile protection against corrosion and frost heaving.
